cmorgana_buSo, I finally received my copy of “A picture with books/ live in Chicago” DVD. There’s so much to watch I think I’ve barely seen half of it in the past two hours but more than enough for this post.
Let’s start with the important things: I love Zack. Zack is my hero, Zack is wonderful, Zack is love.
Second thing, really important again: PATD are cute as a bunch of wet kittens. Really. I know it’s not very manly and probably Spencer would give meat least his infamous bitchface reading this but among all the NC17 words that pop in my mind thinking of them ‘cute’ is the first one. I mean, the first thing that come to my mind watching at the four of them is “aww I want to cuddle them..mom can I have one? I swear I’ll remember to feed him!” and I promise I’m not *that* gay :P
Let’s start with the “in the days” part. First: I like Shane a lot, like…a lot ;)
At the beginning I found it a little confusing, too much “fast forward”, it didn’t give me time to get accustomed to something that ‘BANG’! New day, new place, new scene! And I was like “WTF I was watching Jon and Brendon by the bunks why in hell I’m now watching a gold fish?” but in a few minutes my mind ‘clicked’ and I started to really follow it ;)
In the meantime, watching this video, I learned that Ryan Ross doesn’t smile often for a reason: because when he does it there’s no space for anything else. He makes me nervous, always so serious, so calm…but then, suddenly, he lifts his head and just smiles at something or, even better, at someone and the whole room lit and I can’t even think “damn, he’s a bitch” ‘coz I’m a puddle on the floor, totally melted. And yeah, I actually know it’s fangirlish but it’s not my fault he has such a cute smile, and it’s ok for him not to use it all the time, ‘coz it would make ‘just a smile’ out of it, like Brendon’s, this way, instead, it’s something precious…I’m almost sure I’m not even making sense.
The part I love most in this video is them being dorks. Spen and Jon playing “mini-soccer” (uhm ok I have not the slightest idea of the name, sorry ahahah), Brendon and *Ryan* skateboarding, Zack with the water-gun…Why I love it? ‘coz they look so normal. Not that I don’t think they’re normal, I don’t care if they’re famous or rich or whatever, they still are boys, but normal like ‘I’m an idiot and can’t stop it’ kind of normal, like most of my friends.
And then there are the cute parts…the four of them sat in the back lounge, playing. The shore (and I think I died a little over Brendon and Ryan at the beach ;)) or even the normal every-day things like Ryan on the couch writing a text-message while the other fool around ‘till someone makes him laugh..
I love the way Zack seems over-protective (yeah I know, I know, totally nothing new but still…) and how they joke with Shane all the time.
A special mention goes to Spencer’s legs ‘coz he’s so hot playing in shorts *_*, to Brendon’s belly and to Jon’s…well, to all Jon ‘coz he’s sex on leg whatever he does.
Talking about sex…there are so many slash hints I stopped counting at 3649642 :P I found at least 6 new plots (that I’ll never write obviously :P) and I definitely couldn’t find an OTP…they are an OT4, they can be nothing else…
I watched the ‘behind the videos’ too and the MTV “American Valley” short film (never saw it all before) and my comments are the same…they’re cute as kittens, the way they look at each other, the way they play, they laugh…and even if he got on my nerves I just adore serious!Ryan.
I still have to watch the live performance, instead. I just watched the first three songs, drooled on Spencer, totally died on Jon and yelled at Ryan ‘coz: really, he should smile a little on stage! And no, smile at Jon it’s not enough, we already know they love each other :P.
Brendon…what to say about him? He’s good. Pretty good. Really really good. Who know me also know I always criticized ‘Pretty.Odd.’ a lot, often I disapproved of their music and such but I could never say a bad thing on Bren’s voice and after this live I’m decided he’s really good. He knows how to sing and how to be on stage, he uses his voice really well and catches as low as high notes. Yeah, I really like him.
Ok, too long post and too tired. Hope it makes sense, if not..I’m sorry but it’s no longer my problem, I’m probably asleep on my couch already :P
